"Energy by Longchamp": celebrating every achievement
16.09.2024
Longchamp celebrates its values in the company of female athletes who made their mark at the Paris 2024 games. Medal winners at the most recent Olympic and Paralympic Games, Manon Apithy-Brunet, Althea Laurin and Flora Vautier share a sense of togetherness and daring with the Maison.
High standards, authenticity and optimism: values that resonate with athletes and the Maison alike. In Pairs, they sport Longchamp's wares and discuss what their discipline represents. "For me, sport symbolises respect, helping one another and the desire to surpass yourself", says fencing champion Manon Apithy-Brunet. "Solidarity", adds Althea Laurin. For gymnast Marine Boyer, "team spirit is all about family". "And moving forward together", adds Judo champion Sarah Leonie Cysique.
This vision is shared by Longchamp Artistic Director, Sophie Delafontaine, for whom the athletes' energy is a source of inspiration. In the moment and beyond.
"For us at Longchamp, movement is like a source of life, from the horse in the logo galloping towards the future, fuelled by creative curiosity"
From one season to the next, this concept of dynamism—bolder than anything else—continues to endure. It inspires pieces designed to shake up and take over the world, starting in Paris.
For Longchamp, teamwork and family are kindred spirits. Since 1948, this has been the hallmark of the Maison's identity—boundless energy and radical optimism.
